The goal of Supporting Positive Relationships so Our children Under 6 can Thrive (SPROUT) is for all Fond du Lac County children to be healthy, nurtured, safe and successful from birth to school entry.

The Fond du Lac Community Partnership for Young Children Resource Guide was originally created in 2013 by the SPROUT partnership, with funding from the Early Childhood Community Partnership Grant and was updated in 2016. The mission of SPROUT is to support the social and emotional health of young children by bringing together organizations throughout Fond du Lac County that enrich infant and early childhood development

Screenings available at the WIC Office

If you would like to understandhow your child is doing in his or her development, the WIC office is a place you can go for support.

Diane Fett, Fond du Lac County Birth to 3 Director, Colleen Deanovich, Fond du Lac County WIC Director and Jean Weston Fond du Lac County Maternal Child Health Coordinator are pleased to announce the implementation of a developmental screening site at the WIC office.

The site offers the Ages and Stages Questionnaires for parents to complete depending on the age of their child. The questionnaires are scored and follow-up is provided as needed.

This site was made possible with support from the Fond du Lac County Community Partnership for Young Children (SPROUT) with additional funding provided by The Governor’s Investing Early Grant, The Northeast Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs, The Family Resource Center of Fond du Lac County, and the Fond du Lac Area United Way.

The ASQ board is located on the 3rd floor of the city county building.

SPROUT has developed a detailed resource guide with information for families with young children in the Fond du Lac area. Resources include: Health resources, mental health resources, financial and family support, education, parenting, libraries, and parks/recreational opportunities.
